Rockzilla was formed in Girona in 2000. In the same year they release "Power-o-phonic"(MotorPsycho Records), a 10 inch album, and start touring across Spain. "Evil ways"(GP Records) is the second attack of the band, in 2002 and "Rock 'n'Roll Machine" (mastered by Carlos Jean), the first single, is used as OST in "Una de zombies", a film by Santiago Segura.
"Gotta keep on movin' "(GP Records), one of the best rock albums made in Spain, was the next move in 2004 followed by the single "Don't turn me on" with inedit songs. The fourth album "Beyond Tomorrow"(GP Records) gives them the opportunity to present their raw and mighty live show opening for bands like Deep Purple, Motörhead, Sepultura, Rage, Simple Minds, The Pretenders, Zen Guerilla, Sewer Grooves and many more including 3 great tours with Gluecifer, Nashville Pussy and Sean Yseult with her band Rock City Morgue.
After recording tributes to Chuck Berry "School Days" (Bronco Records, limited series 526) and to Thin Lizzy "Are you ready" Rockzilla went into the studio again to record their fifth album, "Straight" that was never released although it was mixed and mastered due to the split of the band. Anyway five songs of the ghost album made it to the OST of "Alpha" (Filmax) directed by Joan Cutrina.
After a long break and line-up changes Rockzilla returns in 2013. Sue Gere (Warrior Soul bass player) and Arnau Coderch (vocals) join Erick (drums), Dani LaCruz (guitar) and Marky (lead guitar) in a fresh and tough new incarnation of Rockzilla. And next stop of the Rock and Roll machine will be "The animal in me"(Jetglow Recordings). Just make sure to stay tunned!
